There are two options available for downloading HELP3:
zhelp3w.exe and  zhelp3p.exe. The zhelp3w.exe is a 
self-extracting executable file which contains the user's 
guide and the engineering documentation in WordPerfect
Version 5.1 format for printing with HP LaserJet printers;
the zhelp3p.exe is a self-extracting executable file which
contains the user's guide and the engineering documentation
in Adobe Acrobat 3.0 pdf format which can be viewed and 
printed using Acrobat Reader. Instructions for downloading
Acrobat Reader are provided on the model download page.

NOTE: The information in the user's guide and documentation
      is for Version 3.01 of HELP.  A number of updates have
      been made, and the changes are documented in the 
      README.307 file.  
  
To transfer HELP3 to your computer, do the following:

  1. Create a temporary directory/folder on your local 
     system with a valid DOS name (example C:\download).
     (NOTE:  Valid DOS names have up to 8 alphanumeric
     characters without any spaces in the name.)

  2. Download the self-extracting executable file into the
     temporary directory/folder.
  
  3. Go to your temporary directory/folder and run the
     self-extracting executable file to extract the
     installation files.

  4. Run the INSTALL program to load the program and press
     the Enter key when asked to insert a disk.  Be sure to
     install the HELP program in a different directory/
     folder (example C:\HELP3) than the temporary 
     directory/folder where the self-extracting executable
     file was downloaded.

  5. Then, run the HELP3.BAT from the directory/folder 
     where HELP3 was installed to start the program.

Note:  To have a backup copy of the HELP3 program you may 
       want to copy the files onto two(2) HD 3.5" diskettes
       for WordPerfect version or three(3) HD 3.5" diskettes
       for PDF version.  Copy the files as follows:

DISK 1: README.307, INSTALL.BIN, INSTALL.EXE, TESTMATH.EXE,
        PKUNZIP.EXE, INSTALL.FIL, USER87.ZIP, USERNO.ZIP, 
        TAPE3A.ZIP, USER.ZIP
   
DISK 2: EXAMPLES.ZIP, H3DOCS.ZIP (H3USEPDF.ZIP for PDF 
         version), TAPE3N.ZIP, SOURCE.ZIP
   
DISK 3: H3DOCPDF.ZIP 

To install from the diskettes, insert DISK 1 into drive A 
 or B, and enter A:\INSTALL or B:\INSTALL to start 
 installation routine.


************************  UPDATE  **************************
   
If you would like to update a previously installed Version 3
of the HELP model, you may download an update instead of the
entire HELP package.  The update will fit on a 1.44MB floppy
diskette.  To update, follow steps 1 to 4 above and then run
the UPDATE program to install.
