USACE Official Publications of the Headquarters

This collection of publications is the single official repository for official USACE Engineering Regulations (ERs), Engineering Circulars (ECs), Engineering Manuals (EMs) and other official public documents originating from Headquarters USACE. At this site you will find useful Engineer Manuals (see examples below). Click here to go to publications site.

Dredging and Sediment Management

Dredged material is becoming more recognized as a valuable resource that can be used in environmentally beneficial ways. Visit the links below to learn more.

Bioaccumulation or toxicity databases are useful for comparing measured tissue concentrations from a bioaccumulation test, such as those performed to evaluate dredged sediments, to published information that describes the relationship between contaminant tissue concentration and the likelihood of an adverse effect.

U.S. Government Publishing Office: Electronic Code of Federal Regulations

The Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (e-CFR) is a currently updated version of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). It is not an official legal edition of the CFR. The e-CFR is an editorial compilation of CFR material and FEDERAL REGISTER amendments produced by the National Archives and Records Administration's Office of the Federal Register (OFR) and the Government Publishing Office. The OFR updates the material in the e-CFR on a daily basis.

Knowledge Core: ERDC’s digital repository

Knowledge Core is a service of ERDC's Information Science and Knowledge Management Branch that collects, preserves and distributes the ERDC's research publications and historical knowledge. The growing collection includes articles, technical reports, papers, photographs, and videos.

At this site you will find collections for ERDC’s current and past dredging research programs. There has been over 40 years of research and development for evaluating engineering alternatives and environmental impacts of dredging and dredged material management.

USACE Navigation Portal (external link)

The Navigation Data Integration Framework is an effort to establish a detailed methodology to link data and tools across the Navigation Business line and make them easily available to our stakeholders. You will find information for dredging, surveying & mapping, marine transportation system, e-Navigation, sediment & ecosystem management, and infrastructure & asset management.
